Sims House Building Basics
One of the best things about the Sims franchise is the ability to build and decorate your own home. In Sims Social on Facebook you get to do the same thing but to a lesser degree. In this article we look at house building for your new social sim. In this game you have many different building options but you can only buy rooms of various sizes depending upon the house value of your home. You can raise the house value by purchasing new items in the game shop. As your house goes up in value more room sizes will appear in the store until you can buy very large rooms for your home. Many items require a certain player level and a number of skill points before they unlock for your use. Keep playing the game and working on skills which will unlock the items.
Buying Items
If you have never played a sims game buying items is a very simple process. Click the game shop and enter the buying mode. You'll need simoleons, skills, and the appropriate game level to buy items. The "specials" button shows items that are on sale or cost game cash or in this game"sim cash." Simoleons and sim cash are different and you'll need to soend real life money to get sims cash while you'll earn simoleons just by playing the game. At the shop screen you can browse through the many items and pick what you want. Drag the item to your house or drag it back to cancel if you don't want it. The "build" tab lets you work on the rooms in your home and change wallpaper, flooring tiles, doors, windows, and so on. In this tab you can buy new rooms too. Storage shows all items you aren't currently using and the energy tab provides energy refills for sim cash.

How To Decorate
In the Sims Social try not to shove a lot of items into one room. Your sims need plenty of space to move around and if they can't get to an object they will complain to you.The more room you have the easier it will be to play the game and enjoy your new home. Try to get larger rooms as soon as you can since the beginning default rooms are very small. The decorating options are up to you just give the sims room which is the important thing. Don't block doors either or your sims will just stand there or try to go the long way around which can be frustrating for the player.
